We have all experienced grief at one point in our lives. I have experienced it this year for sure. Whether your grief be from a death, from someone being taken away from you that you have a bond of attachment, a pet, something you own that is valuable taken away, someone being diagnosed with an illness, someone going off to war, or just losing your job. You have experienced grief to some degree. At the end of the day, the love you get from your family and friends (like lastnights episode) is what helps you. Even though you still are blown away by the event. It helps to have a great support system. Like the characters in Grey's lastnight; they all dealt with it differently but they had each other for support. Grey's Anatomy blew me away lastnight. I quoted the ending for your reading pleasure.
Lexie: Grief may be a thing we all have in common, but it looks different on everyone.
Mark: It isn't just death we have to grieve. It's life. It's loss. It's change.
Alex: And when we wonder why it has to suck so much sometimes, has to hurt so bad. The thing we gotta try to remember is that it can turn on a dime.
Izzie: That's how you stay alive. When it hurts so much you can't breathe, that's how you survive.
Derek: By remembering that one day, somehow, impossibly, you won't feel this way. It won't hurt this much.
Bailey: Grief comes in its own time for everyone, in its own way.
Owen: So the best we can do, the best anyone can do, is try for honesty.
Meredith: The really crappy thing, the very worst part of grief is that you can't control it.
Arizona: The best we can do is try to let ourselves feel it when it comes.
Callie: And let it go when we can.
Meredith: The very worst part is that the minute you think you're past it, it starts all over again.
Cristina: And always, every time, it takes your breath away.
Meredith: There are five stages of grief. They look different on all of us, but there are always five.
Alex: Denial.
Derek: Anger.
Bailey: Bargaining.
Lexie: Depression.
Richard: Acceptance.

Absolutely! Grief is something that is hard for everyone and everyone handles it differently. It is never easy to deal with and sometimes very hard to get over. Eventually, it will all get better. I'm thankful for you as my support system, and I know you know that I am always here to be yours. I love you!!
I loved this episode. I am so happy my Thursday night TV is back!!!
So very true. Grief is an emotion that we all experience. No two people handle grief the same which makes it so important to have a support system to cry with, talk with, laugh with, or not say anything at all with - just be. Thank you so much for always being a huge part of my support system and know in your heart that come Hell or high water I will be part of your support system. Love you bunches!!
I was crying within the first 2 minutes...
Love you lady!
I really like the end of it....telling that girl to get a life if not for herself for him because she has a life to live. I cried........
