It’s a great world, but there are also people out there that make a not so great world. I watched part of the interview this morning that Rihanna has with Diane Sawyer (airing tomorrow) about her side of the story of the abuse that happened between herself & Chris Brown. She has never spoke until now. Some say it is a publicity stunt. The point is – she is talking about it. So many people out there are in abusive relationships. There are so many types of abuse. You constantly hear “you don’t know what you would do until you have been there.” I do know that I never been in one and can agree 100% with Lisa Wu Hartwell (RHA) a few episodes ago, “I am living proof that there are good men out there that treat you like you should be treated” (shout outs to my wonderful husband, Josh!). You don’t have to stay in it. You make the choice yourself to stay. There are so many places out there now that will help you get back on your feet and make you feel like a human being again, not a punching bag. This goes for men & women: If you are in an abusive relationship, there is help. If you know someone in one, there are tons of sites to help you help that person. Please get the help you need.
