Let me just tell you what the morale around these parts are since the budget was released on Monday. People walk around with their heads down, not smiling, talking works or even wanting to come to work. It's sad and I can't stand it. If this goes through congress (talking about the cancellation of the Constellation Program, including the Ares I and Ares V rockets and Alttair lunar lander - all developed @ the center I work @). This will put around 2300 employees without jobs here and then the list trickles down to others as well. We have had meetings after meetings telling us the same thing - I, of course haven't attended one. It is out of my hands at this point. Once again, one of those things I should be stressing over but instead I am wondering what I am wearing to Halle Grace's birthday party and Melissa & Kyle's shower on Saturday. Please pray for NASA and the cancellation of these programs. Without these programs, our center would be not much of anything.
